Adobe CS3 - simply awesome!

I have been waiting for InDesign CS3 for ages! Earlier I used to do advanced search/replacing using regex in an outputted tagged-text file, or I used AppleScript to create small routines in InDesign, to make live column-titles etc. - now these days are over!

Adobe launched Creative Suite 3 a couple of days ago, and now it is time for me to upgrade from CS1 to CS3, knowing that I will save hours and hours and hours in InDesign, using the new search/replacement tool, along with the more advanced XML-rules.

Along with the new great featureset in InDesign, I’m also happy to see the changes in Illustrator, Flash and Photoshop and I can’t wait receiving the CS3 Design Premium package.

I am very happy with the performance of CS3 on the Intel Mac as opposed to the performance of CS2.

Beside Windows Vista and Mac OSX Leopard, I think Adobe Product is another MOST WANTED Application in 2007 ^_*

Adobe CS3 flash page size has only 10KB. Someone can explain how they managed to make the page size so small (with all images they have there)?

That is the downfall of all this. Every year they come out with something new and it costs a mini-fortune to upgrade. Not only that, but ever since CS2, CS just seems to chew on all my resources! So soon Ill have to upgrade as well :(

Here’s the big problem for me. I want to upgrade my old Mac to the new Intel iMac BUT the cost of Adobe CS3 is more than the computer! Its crazy that I have to spend more on one software package than on the price of a new machine. My local Mac dealer has new iMacs for $1100 and the version of CS3 that I want is listed at $2000.
