I have made a new version of the popular water theme i first released back in july. Not an update but a new 3 column version after some requests.

As the original water theme, this can be modified from the admin panel - colors, fonts, header image, sidebar placement etc., and of course it is widget ready.

Grab it from the theme viewer.

Its all inside the style.php file - this way its possible to change things dynamically from the theme options page located under the “presentation” tab in the administration area.

If it fails try to add a slash in front of “../../../../wp-config.php” in style.php so it looks like “/../../../../wp-config.php”.

Love the theme! Added column looks great!

One newbie question: I changed the permalink structure to look pretty and now searches from non-home pages are breaking. Which line of code should I change on search.php/Single Post etc. to fix that?

LOVE the theme. I’ve looked around for answers to this, so forgive me if they’re right in front of my nose. Couple questions:

1. how do i keep the pages from being “uncategorized?”
2. how do i get the drop down selector to work for subpages?

Disclaimer: I’m not a theme guru, but I can hack php with a little help.

Any chance there’s an ‘easy’ way to place the blog’s tagline somewhere in the header, perhaps beneath the blog title on the right? Bonus points if we can overlay it above the image without having to knock it down another line.

Quick question…When I try to scroll the drop down archives on the nav menu I cannot get my cursor to select the months that fall below the bottom header image. Any suggestions to fix this because I love the theme?

Hey!

Really love this theme. I haven’t a clue about code, But I have managed to work my way around this one with relative ease. I am using IE7 and had no problems, but just there now I got a comment from a visitor telling me that in Firefox the post is pushed down the bottom of the page. I’m not sure what to do. I downloaded Firefox to see and he’s right. However it’s only on the homepage. Can you help?

Hi again!

Not sure if you checked, but I got the last ‘issue’ sorted with relative ease thankfully. Not wanting to change the theme at the moment, I have a problem. Half the time when I go to leave a reply to the comments on my posts, I get an error, “Could not process submit” or something. I have to refresh and try again, but it doesn’t always work.

Also, in the category drop down menu, after 8 categories, the menu disappears as you try to move the cursor any lower.

Can you help with both these problems?

looks good…but…The text in the title is hidden by the image. eg on my site ‘kodespace’ the ‘p’ is chopped.

This is in IE only. Firefox works great. Any ideas?

I noticed that style.php uses a hardcoded white color for the menu text (approx line 138). This makes it hard to read on dark backgrounds where you choose lighter coloured fonts.

Changing color:#FFF to color: does the trick though.

Among all the themes i was giving i try, this theme is the really the best - i agree with all the other positive posters. And with some other goodies i found for wordpress, i build myself a pretty nice wordpress blog. It’s used in our intranet, so you cant see it, but my people at work really like it.
