As a member of the 9rules community, I have a strange feeling about the whole debate about the public face of 9rules, kickstarted by this note.
I am not writing this post to give an answer to all Brad Fults questions, or to question what Scrivs wrote here - I simply write to show you the true public face of 9rules:
Thats right, the true public face of 9rules can not be put on a handful of people, but on the community. As far as I know, that was the intention with 9rules - it was launched in 2003 by a few people with a vision/an idea, and it has now escalated to be a community with more than 200 members, and with more than 1190 people interested in becoming members (october 2006).
The point is: If 9rules sucks, if 9rules is unprofessional, if the logo sucks etc. - don’t blame Paul, Mike or Tyme - blame us all.
For people not on flickr, the fullsize picture can be seen here.

Do you think you could make one with a black background? I’d love to use it as my wallpaper.

It felt cool to find my favicon in there… as much as I try to set myself “apart” from other bloggers, I really like being a part of the community that is 9rules.
