The undersigned

Logo announcement

It’s done - finally. I have been fighting with getting it right for quite a while, and now it’s done.

The undersigned's logo

For those who doesn’t “speak” fluid morse code - yes, it is morse code. The big logo is “the undersigned”, while the small logo is just “TUS” (The undersigned).

I have made two logos for a reason. The big logo will be the official logo, while the small logo will be used as a design element, watermarks on invoices etc. The small logo might also come in handy in places where the space is limited.

The logo comes in two different colors, one for dark backgrounds and one for lighter backgrounds.

What does it symbolize?

The undersigned offers a lot, customizing WordPress, web design, graphic design, communication, consulting etc. and that is what the logo had to symbolize somehow.

It isn’t possible too tell what the undersigned does by looking at the logo, but that wasn’t the goal either. The goal is to recognize the undersigned from the logo, and to be reminded of what the undersigned can offer you.

The colors and the shapes used as dots and dashes are supposed to show that we are working with design - graphic as well as web design. The morse code symbolizes communication.

The logotype?

Along with the logo I have created the logotypes as shown here:

The undersigned's logotype

It comes in a right and left aligned version, which will be used depending on the placement of the logo.

The font used is Futura, but slightly edited. I have made a “new” Futura font set which will also be used in the letter-line and on the business card.

Nice logos. The Morse code relation is original. A suggestion for what you could use the smaller logo is a Gravatar. I’ve seen many people with their gravatars a smaller version of their site logos.

Also, why use a favicon with a gray background? The one with a white background would look better IMO. But whatever. Nice logo either ways :).

And, now, looking at your previous comments, I realize that you have used the logo as your gravatar. Never mind then.
