Just to confuse everyone and play around, I have changed the slideshow from SlideShowPro to MonoSlideshow at design.theundersigned.net.
I was tipped about that viewer and I must admit that it seems more friendly towards users who isn’t that confident about browsing the Internet - in other words, navigating the gallery is cut down to basic.
My scripts to integrate SlideShowPro with WordPress are still available, and I might just release the same scripts a bit modified for MonoSlideshow.

Is that likely to occur?

hello,
I am interested in making a slideshow for a friends blog who at the moment are using a gallery plugin for wordpress that does not offer aslideshow functionality. it places links to thumbnails into the excerpt, and a link to the image inside the content thats all. here is a feed: http://www.rum-reisen.de/category/bahia-blanca-ushuaia/feed/ now I thought about finding a plugin that could take these feeds and turn them into slideshows.
do you think this slideshowpro or monoslideshow you are refering to on your pages coudl do the job (yes I know I have to pay for them) - furthermore you were talking about some scripts you would maybe release? you think any of those could work with a feed like the one I posted here?
Please, I woudl really love to get a feedback, even a negative one. and if you have another idea how I could acomplish that…
