Well, felt like it was time to submit at 9rules in their recent 4th submission round, and I am really looking forward to see how it goes - being a member there is, in my eyes, a great approval of any blog’s content - a quality mark.
I heard from Colin that they have established an internal voting system, and that they all four will look through all the ~ 700 submitted sites through, starting monday - tomorrow.
People wonders how many sites will be accepted, but I will simply quote Mike:
As I’m sure Paul would agree with me, if all 700 submitted were fantastic then we’d take them all. As long as we feel a blog will enhance the Network for members and readers we’ll take it no matter how many we’ve already taken.
So do not fear of competition - if a site is worth it, it will be accepted. The only question I have left is, will the accepted blogs be noticed during the process, or will they all be announced at once?
Well, until I know for certain if this blog is accepted, I will keep biting my nails. Being accepted would mean a lot to me.
Other stuff
As I mentioned in the Blog accessibility post, I am not satisfied with the way content gets hidden on my blog - so I am working on a new design.
If you liked my articles about my web designing workflow (part one - part two), you might want to read April Zero’s shot at a similar article as well.
I am considering to make the WordPress theme SG/Dark fluid, changing the header and make an extra administration presentation tab to change colors (like in StripedPlus and RoundFlow)
